Extremely slow and laggy (build 2)

I am quite disappointed by the slowness of pt3. I just had nine tables up, and just clicking on the filter button froze all my tables for about 15 seconds. There is also noticeable lag when resizing more than one table at one (ie tiling). This is on FTP.

This slowness wasn't present in beta 11 but is in both build 1 and build 2 of the commercial release
