Error while converting to PostgreSQL

Postby ooooooooooh » Fri May 16, 2008 7:23 pm

While trying to convert my database (about 75% of the way through), I got a message that says

"Error creating index - hand_histories_idx_01
7 - SQLstate = 23505
ERROR: Could not create unique index
Table contains duplicated values.;
Error while executing the query"

What do I do?

EDIT: While I'm thinking about it, while installing postgreSQL it said that port 5432 was already being used, so I changed it to port 5433, and changed the port again in postgreSQL settings to 5433. The beginning of the conversion went ok, but if this is a problem, let me know.

What email was used to register PT2? I have no record of this one you are using for the site.

Hi,

I have also had the same error when trying to convert a pt2 db to PostgreSQL. I wanted to do this so that I could add this db to PT3 in order to try out the product.
Can anyone help?

Cheers

You don't need to install PostgreSQL in order to convert to a PokerTracker 3 database. Simply go to the Utilities menu, click Export HHs to File, and export all of your hands to a new blank directory. Then you can import them in PT3 using the Manual Import, Import From Directory function.
