Limps then Folds or Call (LFC= X/X)

Postby davidbzr » Wed Aug 21, 2013 3:44 am

Hello, I'm working on a note that helps identified players that limp and then fold or call, I use LFC= 2/0 manually to, for example, indicate that a player limped 2 times, fold 2 times and called 0. Do you know if something like this can be possible with pokertracker? and if it isn't, what about a Limp/Call and a Limp/Fold note separately, how can I do that?

You could do them as NoteTracker notes separately, or you could display your exact LFC stat as a custom statistic. It depends what you want - but it sounds like what you really want is a stat.

Thank you. I've already created the limp/fold note, but I have one question about the limp/call one: I want it to count the times "player" doesn't show his hand as well as the range of hands he has when he does. Is it possible?

For example L/C= {3 hands} (number of times he L/C (7))

I have another question relating a different subject I though it was ok to not make another post:

In the graph tab if I add "My currency per hour" to display in the information box it repeats itself many times, showing as if I had an information box with many stats/lines.

You can't combine those two kinds of notes into one line. However you could do this as a custom stat. Custom stats are flexible like that.

The hourly stats are built to work with reports broken down into different groupings; the unnamed one is for the By Session grouping, so you're getting one row per session. Due to the way we have to calculate time based stats, there's no way around this at this time.

The easiest place to start is with this tutorial. It was written for PT3 but all of the concepts translate to PT4 very well. The format expression section is how you're going to create your stat to show as "X/X" (the LFC part you'll probably just want to do as a prefix). The actual columns which give you the numbers will also be explained, though in this case I believe everything you'll need is built in (cnt_p_limp is the number of preflop limps, cnt_p_limp_call is the number of preflop limp/calls, cnt_p_limp_faceraise is the number of limps the player made where they then faced a raise after, regardless of what they did). So you shouldn't need to build new columns I think, just use existing ones.
