configure postgresql server information

I have the same problems. I can't even remove password requirements, because when I go to start --> programs postgreql isn't there, because I removed it accidentally (postgresql is running on my task manager still). Now I can't even download postregsql. Everytime I tried to download I get the message: Windows can't open or read (Can't remember which) file. I'm probably downloading wrong files. I don't have any idea which files to download. postgresql site is so confusing. Now I just randomly download everything that moves. I don't know anything about computers and I'm just not smart enough to get PT3 work on my computer. I have tried 12 hours straight, but no dice.

My apologies for the slow response. We have been overwhelmed by questions and I have not been able to get out of the PokerTracker support system.

If you go Start->Programs->PostgreSQL, is 'Start Service' and 'Stop Service' listed? If not then the PostgreSQL installation failed and we will need to manually install PostgreSQL according to:

viewtopic.php?f=17&t=790&start=0
