6max-Designation on Manual Import (Party)

Postby Ajezz » Fri May 16, 2008 9:06 am

I exported the hand histories of my PT2 database and imported them into PT3 using the manual import. Problem: The shorthanded hands from Party were not recognized as 6max.
The shorthanded hands from FullTilt, however, WERE recognized correctly as 6max.
I can import the Party hands correctly as 6max using the Auto-Import with the "Adjust Qualifying Tables Limits" option checked, but this way the import would be taking forever as it is so much more slowly than the manual import.

Is there the same option for manual import as there is for auto (and I am too stupid to find it)? Or is it possible to convert the hands to 6max after the import (like there was in PT2)?

Ok, never mind, it seems to work now.
I checked the "Adjust... option", tried again with a small sample it it is correctly recognized even with manual import.

So please disregard my above post. :)

I don't think this functionality has been added yet.

Another thought, Josh - will you be adding this option (Adjust qualifying table limits) to Manual Import too?
I guess that's a bit dodgy since a bulk import is likely to contain a wide range of table types that we might have forgotten about..

The setting affects both manual and auto imports.

Thanks, Josh - I'd just worked that out from posts elsewhere.

*bump*

Has the option for "6 Max / 5 Max / 1-on-1 - Conversion.." utility been added in PT3?

(I believe that the lastest bunch of posts dates from May, 2008.)

Not yet but it's fairly high on the list; see the development timeline for our current list of short term goals and priorities.

So one cannot import hands say @ HU and 6 max and FR and let PT3 seperate them up?
The original poster was inquiring about party - is that same for all networks?
And if so do you have any idea as to when this will be updated.

Thanks

If you enable the 'adjust qualifying tables limits' option on the auto import tab then it will recognize the table sizes as Party hands are imported.
