Installing on new Windows 8 Computer

My computer was out for repair. Just got it back today. What is going on with this ticket.

After returning my computer to HP for service for the third time in three months, they have decided to give me a new machine. I just got this back today after being without it for 27 days. It is only partly functional. They are building a new one for me that they will send me in about 2 weeks. I'll be ready in mid September I guess.

On new computer. Having fewer issues (I.e., my firefox has not crashed yet), but still having some issues. May have to send this one out for service as well. It may be another month. I won't know for another week or so as I await my disk caddy for this new machine and monitor computer behavior.

I finally have my new computer (3rd machine since May) working. Can I set up an appointment

I have reinstalled PT3 and PT4 and restored my latest backups. PT3 is working fine. PT4 seems to be more of an issue of getting the software to recognize the proper database. One datebase is 6688 kB and the other is 4170 MB. When I change the active and default to the big one, PT4 still seems to act as if there are no data.

Have you chosen the proper player from the drop down on the left hand side? If a player is in one database but not another that can cause it to look like there's no data when in fact all of the data is there.

There are no players in the drop down on the LHS.
