PT4 keeps crashing after most recent update

Open PT4 and click File -> Open User Data Folder. Double click the Config folder. There's a text file called PokerTracker.cfg (it may show up as a CFG type file called PokerTracker), right click on it and open it with Notepad or Wordpad. There should be a section called [General] -- where that text appears on its own line. Right under that add the text:
Community=N

Then click File -> Save, close the text file and close and reopen PT4. It should work now and once we have 4.10.4 out you can remove that setting and things should work again.

I just download 4.10.4 version latest version as i buy pt4 on 15 october 2013.
I was used previously pt 3 with a postgres 8.3 witch contain around 120,000 hands.
Now program pt4 want to updating pt4 database I click Yes.
They ask for a backup I click no.
Then this updating window start and still run for over 4 hours now.
It is normal? or something wrong?
I did not use other database ressource as requested during the updating.

What version of PT4 were you updating from? PT4 can't use PT3 databases so there has to be a PT4 database that's being upgraded.

I download pt4 4. 10.4
I understand that pt4 cant use pt3 database and a update is need it
But now this updating running for over 12 hour now
it is normal or something wrong?
I had 120,000 hands from pt3 database.

I'm confused about exactly how you're seeing the database updating. If you didn't have a PT4 database previously there's nothing to update. If you're converting a PT3 database via the Setup Assistant it will show you a progress bar. Do you not see one?
