last week out of nowhere, my hud wouldnt show up on the tables. it would actually show up on the desltop and no matter how many times i tiled or cascaded, the numbers wouldnt follow. they simply stay on the desktop, top left corner. help

Which version of Mac OSX are you using?
Please make sure that all of your tables are on the main Desktop - if you play on another Desktop the Hud won't work correctly.

im so bad with comps

That does look like the issue caused by multiple desktops. Please review this thread for more information to confirm whether or not that is your problem.

If you update to Mavericks please also note this post as you will need to change an option.
