PT4 is already runnig

Hi

My mac crashed today (due to an electric failure at home) and now, I can't launch PT4. Error message : another copy of poker tracker is already running

What can I do ?

Search your computer for a file called PokerTracker4.pid and delete it, and you should be able to run again.

It should be at ~/.pokertracker4.pid

but now… the program refuses to connect to the database !

If you haven't already, please reboot your computer - that will often get PostgreSQL working again.

However, if you had a power failure there could be a problem with your database. Are you able to create a new database or is it failing to connect to PostgreSQL at all?
