Opening tables on PokerStars directly from TableTracker

Postby cmling » Wed Sep 11, 2013 3:59 pm

Greetings!

Once again, I suppose I am doing something wrong. Lobby is open, no filters used; I start TT, it duly shows me all it knows (great!), but when I click on the table I am about to savage, the table doesn't open. This is nothing critical, all the more as I am still using my free 25 searches and must earn more money before I can contemplate a subscription, but I admit that I am curious.

Thank you for your time and assistance!

You need to first open PokerStars from TableTracker using the Launch button, then Open Table should work.

Hey,

If followed all these steps and still not working, what next? I want to buy this, but I need to be able to double-click the table and have it come up.

Thanks,
Jon

There was a PokerStars software change recently which broke table opening, but a fix has been released for this and will be automatically downloaded the next time you restart PT4.

Hi there,

I have done all of the above, I play on pokerstars.eu, I see all the tables with stats in TableTracker, no filters in lobby, have launched PS from Pokertracker4 which works fine but when trying to open tables from TableTracker get the error message of launch from PT and table filters. I have just downloaded the update for PokerTracker and still get the error. I am still on the trial of TT (have purchased PT4) but as the poster above stated would like it to work before purchasing TT, any other ideas of how to get it to work or anyone else solved this same problem?

In Windows Explorer go to:

C:\Program Files (x86)\PokerTracker 4\Data\Bin

There should be a file called "if1.enc".
What is the date of that file? It should be from this month. If not, try renaming it (with PT4 closed) and then run PT4 again and see if that forces it to download the new version.

Hi there,

Did as you said, the file was from 6-nov-2013 but on a complete pokertracker and computer restart it didn't force a new download. After trying table tracker after it said that it could not locate the table opening library. Reverted back to old name and still get the same issue with the library.

Cheers for any extra advice or tips on what to try next.

The file from November 6th is the right one. Please open a Support Ticket so that we can check your logs and investigate further.
