Database Update doesn run through

Updated PT 2 days ago.

Then when I wanted to import hands, it told me to update the DB.

I tried to. Started the Update, but it the update didnt finish. It ran for over 24 hours until I quit the process and shot down my computer. I ran the update again, same problem at the second time.

What to do now ?

Please restart PT4 using the logging enabled link on your Start Menu, let the update run for a few minutes, and then report it via our support system with the log file - that will help us figure out what is going on here and get it fixed for you. You can find that file by clicking File --> Show User Data Folder in the main PT4 window (open this before you start the update - you won't be able to access the menu bar once the update starts!) - the file we need is the text file called PokerTracker4 that is in that folder.

there is no such file in teh Pokertracker 4 folder. Also I have to stop the update by quiting the process through the taskmgr, cause every time I try to close it manually, PT4 says, that I should allow the update to run through

Make sure you start PT4 with the Logging Enabled link and that file should be generated well before the update starts.
