Just bought PT4 but cant connect?

Yes its when I go to connect to it it doesnt work.. thougt it was the firewall that was the problem but it wasnt

Click Start type services.msc and click on it when it appears. Is PostgreSQL listed in that list and listed as started?

I have exactly the same problem and the PostgreSQL doesn't appear in that list. What should I do?
When I try to install that it complains about the wrong password. I have tried dbpass, postgres and postgrespass. Those didn't work out.

PT4 stopped with the text 'Program ended with an error exit code.'

Please follow the guide here to fully uninstall and reinstall PostgreSQL.

I found out that the problem was I had removed PT3 Demo version earlier and PostgreSQL 8.3 had left password in my computer.
I didn't find that 8.3 version anywhere anymore in my computer but when I tried to install the PT3 again I got the password because PT3 wanted to use it again
My case closed, hopefully dyng247 gets his problem solved too.
