Did you change the password during installation from our default of dbpass? If so you will need to use the password you put into the installer in PT4 so that it can connect to the database.

Click Start type services.msc and click on it when it appears. Is PostgreSQL in the list and started?

Please double check that your firewall is not blocking PostgreSQL as that can cause this error. If that doesn't fix it, please send the last few files in the C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\9.0\data\pg_log folder to us in a support ticket and we'll investigate further.

Click Start type Event Viewer and click on it when it appears. Expand Windows Logs in the top left and click Applications. Look in the top center section for errors relating to PostgreSQL; you should find at least a couple. Click on them and tell me what the error text says.

ok here are the errors :

- Timed out waiting for server startup
- postgres cannot access the server configuration file "I:/Program Files/PostgreSQL/9.0/data/postgresql.conf": No such file or directory
- The program PokerTracker4.exe version 4.10.6.0 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Action Center control panel.
