poker tracker no longer importing hands

just starts calculating time remaining and never imports a hand

Please restart PT4 using the logging enabled link on your Start Menu, reproduce this problem and then report it via our support system with the log file - that will help us figure out what is going on here and get it fixed for you. You can find that file by clicking File --> Show User Data Folder in the main PT4 window - the file we need is the text file called PokerTracker4 that is in that folder. Please also include that file as it will help us investigate further for you.

attempted to send the log file but when I do it says waiting for pokertracker.com and nothing happens. can you send me an email link to which I can reply via email

Try zipping up the file first; there's a 5M maximum, but when zipped it should fit within that limit.
