[quote="Pilli"scr]Another something i just noticed.

The names in the overlay stats don't update. The stats are correct though (when i mouse over the corrent screenname is shown) but the name on the top of the overlay stats is still the screenname of a player that was seated there several hands ago.

Any way that can be solved?[/quotescr]

Thought this one was over, just a random bug. Back again now though. Happens randomly afaik. Just doesn't update the name on the HUD, but the stats update fine (even with the mouse over it shows the right name)

I'll check this out.

The pop-ups get updated whenever the database is hit *for sure* - so if they show the correct player name, you can be sure the stats are for the correct player despite what the 1st panel says. I must have forgot an update command somewhere...

Yes, when i mouse-over on the stats, the mouse-over-box-thingy displays the right nickname, but the overlay still shows the old. Must be a forgotton update query. It's not really big or important, just a little weird seeing another nick there.

[quote="_dave_"z1t][quote="jerper"z1t]I am seeing the hud, but all it shows is the names

no stats at all, any clue?[/quotez1t]

Have you set the "md5" to "trust"? Required.

are you getting error logs created? PM me one if so. (copy/paste form the last "BEGIN") please.[/quotez1t]

Heres a screen shot of what I am getting

[url=http://img242.imageshack.us/my.php?image=screenshot002tt7.jpgz1t][imgz1t]http://img242.imageshack.us/img242/1434/screenshot002tt7.th.jpg[/imgz1t][/urlz1t]

I wasnt sure what you mean by that fix so I change the "edit pg_hba.conf" file to trust. If thats what you meant, then no it didnt work, but no errors.

Another request:

Not sure if this request should be for the HUD or if it just hasen't been added into PT3 yet.
Would be great if you could add the cbet % on the VPIP / PFR line.

Really handy statistic to have on the HUD.

Bug found:

At some random moments, when the window is out of focus, and it's my turn to act, i click on the window, and then i get this:

[imgy1m]http://img256.imageshack.us/img256/2580/errorahkhudtj3.jpg[/imgy1m]

After clicking Ok, the stats won't update any further untill I reload the AHK script.

Any way of working around this or solving it?

Now I'm not sure what you mean, but what dave means is that you need to edit the file pg_hba.conf in the postgresql folder (eg. c:\program files\postgresql\8.x\data\) and replace the "md5" with "trust" in the bottom of the file.

Ok, I did exactly that. I have the HUD showing up on tables, just no numbers just like before.

Are you sure you've written the correct information in your stats.ahk file in the HUD folder? Remember, the database name it requires is not necessarily the name that is displayed under "Database name" in the "Database management" in PT3. Select the database in the list and click the edit button. The name next to the "Database" line is the one you want to add to the stats.ahk file. If this is not the problem, make sure you have the latest version of the pokerstars software. If none of the above works, I don't know, and you'll have to wait for _dave_ :)

Step-by-step: Getting it working!

Postby Peligroso » Mon Jan 28, 2008 1:28 pm

So, I decided to write a quick guide on how to make it run, so dave hopefully can get to spend some more time on coding instead of on support :)

First of all, if you don't already have it, go and download AHK at http://www.autohotkey.com/download/ and install it.

1. Download the file from the [url=http://www.pokertracker3.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=180&st=0&sk=t&sd=a#p1295b5w]first post[/urlb5w] in this thread and extract it to a new folder.

2. Copy psql.exe and the *.dll files from your PostgreSQL\8.x\bin folder into your newly created ahk hud folder.

[imgb5w]http://img101.imageshack.us/img101/7212/step1uh8.jpg[/imgb5w]

3. Find out the name of your PT3 database. To get the actual database name, open database management in PT3, select the database and click edit and then check the name next to the "Database" field (do not mix it up with the "Database name" shown in the database list under database management).

[imgb5w]http://img409.imageshack.us/img409/7735/step2io3.jpg[/imgb5w]

4. Put this database name into your stats.ahk file in the ahk hud folder.

[imgb5w]http://img402.imageshack.us/img402/1816/step3fd7.jpg[/imgb5w]

5. Open the file pg_hba.conf in your PostgreSQL\8.x\data folder and change the "md5" to "trust" in the end of the file. After doing this, restart postgresql (or just reboot your computer) for the "trust" change to take effect.

[imgb5w]http://img408.imageshack.us/img408/5417/step4hu0.jpg[/imgb5w]

6. Double-click the file "pt3_hud_v0.1.ahk" to start the script, a green H will appear in the system tray, and then another green H for every table opened. If it doesn't work by now, make sure you have the latest version of the PokerStars software. Do this by starting PokerStars with the "PokerStarsUpdate.exe" file in the PokerStars folder.

7. Sit down at the tables and play. Simply drag the stats to where you want them and the Hud will remember it next time you start up. The stats should show up after you've played one hand at a table. If it doesn't work by now, beg _dave_ for some help :)
