All-in adj

Postby xeca80 » Tue Apr 01, 2014 6:59 am

Hi !!

I Dont know exactly what that stat means. Does it show the EV only in all-in ended hands? or does it show also the EV in other hands in which our opponents cards are showed ?

I wonder this becasue I ve recently seen a graph where the all-in adj (orange line) was very very much lower than the current winnings (green line), and that is nearly impossible if that stat is only about all-in ended hands.

What kind of hands is reffered to this stat?

Thank you.

For cash games, when you're in an all-in the adjusted results are your equity in the all-in pot times the pot size minus your contribution. We use that in place of your actual results in those statistics. Note that if someone calls the all-in and later folds we can't accurately calculate your equity in the all-in pot (as someone had equity in the pot and later folded it) so we don't calculate adjusted results at all for that hand.

Well, I dont know if I understood properly: The orange line (that one identified as "all-in adj") shows the equity I have in all-in hands, but I have noticed that that line changes as well in other hands that doesnt end in all-in, so all -in ended hands are not the only hands that influence that line, is this right?

Any hand that isn't all-in affects the line just the same as it affects your normal My C Won line.

Ok, thanks.
I supposse that if i play 10 hands not ended in all in, the orange line will be exactly the same as the green one, isnt it. I am trying to find out if a great different between both lines can be caused by other reason besides variance.I guess the answer is no.

Yes the lines would line up exactly then.

The lines won't ever match up otherwise because in almost all cases you have some but not all of the equity in the pot -- but you either win it or lose it all.
