UTG position 6

Hi, when I want to create a note on a players tendancies UTG, is UTG not always position 6? Is that not how it works? I know 6 works for UTG most times but does not seem to work all the time and was wondering why this is and what the solution to this is? Thanks for your time.

The way the number works there isn't a set number for first to act. The small blind is always 9 and the big blind is always 8. If there's a button, he's 0. If there's a cutoff, he's 1, and each extra player we have adds a number (hijack is 2, and so on). So UTG for full ring is going to have a different number for 6max.
