Thanks for the update.

Seitz,

How much activity are we talking for PT4?

On carbon I play about 600-800 tourney hands per night. I'm also using/testing on PokerStars Alpha 7 once a week for a league tourney, about 200 hands/week.

PT4 won't be doing much during the update as the work is primarily done by PostgreSQL. It's hard to predict how long it would take even if we knew the size of your database and the specs of your computer, but if it hasn't finished by now and PostgreSQL isn't doing any work then I'd reboot and try it again. If the database doesn't update when you run PT4 then go to Database > Database Management and click Rebuild Cache to complete the process.

My (large) database run an update during night. In the morning, the import didn't work. It said can't import hands to an outdated database. After restarting PT4 it wanted to update the database again. Waste of time I suppose. Now I'm in progress of building a new database and reimporting hands.

My 31GB database is now updating for over 30 hours. There is just pokertracker process running, no postgresql process in the task manager, but the Postgresql service is running. What should I do?

TRNSLTR: Make sure you click Show Processes From All Users in Task Manager; the PostgreSQL service is run by the postgres user and won't be visible without clicking that button.

Ok, right you are - 10 postgres.exe processes appeared. So I should let it keep updating the database even though it already has been going on for such a long time?

Are some of those 10 processes still actively using CPU?
