after update to 4.11 PT4 doesn't work

Try to revert your PostgreSQL Tuning first (Database -> Database Management -> Housekeeping -> Revert PostgreSQL Tuning) and then try to rebuild the cache again to see if that works for you.

Seems like that helped, cache is now rebuilding says it has a few more hours. Do you expect this to solve my issue of the HUD not appearing?

What is the best way to be notified once there is a fix for this issue?

Yes, a cache rebuild should help, although we've also seen some cases where it doesn't seem to. If you have problems after the cache rebuild please open a Support Ticket and report your problem - you will then get a notification via your ticket when the fix is released.

I have updated to pt4.11.2, updated db, rebuilt cache.
When trying to get you the neccessary info from PGAdmin III I couldn't find magnifying glass in it's toolbar. It appears I have the older PostgreSQL database version 8.4. Is that the reason and I should update it?

Should I update or am I just missing the magnifying glass somewhere?

It is the toolbar icon which says "SQL" in what looks like an orange-rimmed magnifying glass.

detuned postogre, tried to rebuild cache after getting imports of 1 hand/5minute. Error as follows:
