after update to 4.11 PT4 doesn't work

Would love some guidance/steps for properly doing this, im in the middle of cache rebuilding after installing 4.11.5 patch but feel like it frooze, its been a while since i havent seen any progress...

Finally after over 40min i see some progress been shown in the window time but still feel like im going to be here all day

speed of import in 4.11.5 like in 11.1 (mush lower then 11.3) . Huds work.

I've updated to 4.11.3, and rebuild my cache, still extremely slow though...

Updated from 4.11.3 to 4.11.4 did not try it out since its pulled out from the thread, replace my 4.11.4 to 4.11.3 again then udpate to 4.11.5 followed by a cache rebuild. Rebuilding cache still in process.

Is that the correct step to do it?

That's awesome.

I'd like to say something - you don't need hands older than 2-3 monthes ago in your DB. Opps playing become harder from time to time. If you use old and new statistics together - you just won't see the real opp stats, because his playing has changed.

If you clean your DB from old hands - the cache rebuild will run faster.

hole sh..t batman ur right totally missed that, though it said 30mins OMG¡!¡, well if this will fix the issue more than happy to waist the day and waiting for this to complete, will update how it goes, cheers.

As for many others, for me importing hands was slow on 4.11.1 and 4.11.2 and then 4.11.3 did not show a HUD for any "new" players. My cache update was not a problem. Creating a new database did not help. I upgraded postgresql from 9.0.13 to 9.3.4 and updated to 4.11.5 and now everything works with a new database and reloaded hands. I didn't try with my old database. I had also downgraded to 4.10.something along the way, no harm done, and it worked too. (I didn't lose my HUD configuration or anything.)

I'm running PT4 under Linux/Wine. The new support for 9.3.4 will let more people run PT4 under Linux. (Running ancient Postgresql 9.0 usually required compiling it, which was not troublefree under some versions of Linux.)

I did not submit a trouble ticket.
