PT4 new VR Not Opening

As mentioned, any suggestions

I've tried the basics to fix it, reinstalling, compatibilities, firewalls, restarts.

It loaded the first time > database synchrosation > froze importing data, i shut it down, reset it said cannot connect to database, closed tried again, never opened again.

Please response ASAP

Please restart PT4 using the logging enabled link on your Start Menu, let it sit for a good while -- say 15 or 20 minutes -- and then report it via our support system with the log file - that will help us figure out what is going on here and get it fixed for you. You can find that file by clicking Start and typing %userprofile%/AppData/Local/PokerTracker 4 and hitting enter. The file we need is the text file called PokerTracker4 that is in that folder. The logging starts well before PT4 actually appears so there should be something in the file giving us an idea where things are stuck.

Hi guys, im having the same problem I think, I update it to the last version (v4.11.6) and it asked me to make a back-up, wich i did. But when all finished properly and started the daily grind the program doesnt work at all (no hud, runs slow, and tilts when i click "get hands while playing" and "stop getting hands"). I ve tried to find the file that kraada mentioned but could not find it, im using win7.

Just following up i managed to get it working, an error message finally popped up so was able to figure it out.

I'm using win 7 too, i found out the problem was with postgres not being loaded, if your problem is the same thing going to start menu > run > services.msc

make sure postgres is started, it might help to reset too.

rojostars: You need to make sure that you use the Logging Enabled link on your Start Menu for PT4 for the log file to be created.

Hi, thanks Zard and kraada for answering, I ve just openned it again from the Start Menu and it works fine.
