after update to 4.11 PT4 doesn't work

After updating to 4.11 every time I try to do a database update the process lasts 24hrs+ w/o finishing.

How can I fix this problem every day that passes w/o the ability to use Pt4 is costing me a good deal of money.

EDIT: I should note I have a very strong computer and a medium sized database

If you haven't already, please update to v4.11.6.

Please review the Release Notes for this version before updating.

If your database is massive then it's possible it will take more than 24 hours - how big is it?
Please run with logging enabled next time (Tutorial: Reporting a problem) and send us the log file via a Support Ticket so that we can see what is going on.

I've answered this in the other thread but will do so here in too in case the other one is overlooked.

My database is 4GB and I've run the update for 26+ hours in the past so something is definitely wrong. The only way I can exit PT4 once the endless update loop is started is to force quit the application - thus losing any logging I'm doing.

i also got the same problem as described. After Updating pt4 from version 4.10.9 to 4.11. I try as described to rebuild my cache but seems like it don´t work out.
I wrote a ticket including my pt4 file.

I mentioned it a few pages back, probably lost in the sea of posts - "cash_blinds" gets invented by the "convert statistic to cash" option, presumably the 4.11 update converts tourney stats to cash for some reason. Or users don't notice the "tournament" radio button when importing a tournament hud.

I couldn't reproduce this - PT4 converts cash_limit to tourney_blinds and vice versa.
If you have a stat with which you can reproduce this when converting it please attach it to a Support Ticket.

This happens when importing a cash profile as tournament (or vice versa). Stat conversion works, but it seems that it isn't being applied correctly when importing a Hud profile as the opposite type.
I will discuss this with the development team and get that corrected. Thanks for your help finding this.

My PT4 has been updating for over 72hours now..
My computer has 8GB RAM and the DB is about 100GB... how much longer will it (approx) take??

A 100G database is pretty huge, I couldn't really hazard a guess at exactly how long it's going to take.

Most of what's happening is reading and writing data. There's a lot of data to read and write.
