Just as a thought, your developers might consider making sure they can support both the old and new formats for Carbon/Merge so that, for example, if someone switches from HM2 to PT4 or if they want to rebuild their database from scratch they don't lose the ability to load their older files.

Yes, I'm a development dork :).

Thanks. Merge actually made a further change overnight - it turns out that part of their change was unintentional and has been reverted, but the other changes remain. We will therefore need to make a further change to PT4. I still hope and expect that we'll have an update today, but at the moment I can't promise that.

I'm a developer too and I know what it's like to have customers screaming at you to get something pushed out the door ASAP but then screaming out you for every tiny little bug that got missed because it got pushed out quickly. A great QA department is to a developer what a great offensive line is to a quarterback!

Good luck - I know this is the 'fun" part of being a software company!
