Today for the first time I am getting the pop-up "Excessive Hand Histories". I did everything asked for in:
https://www.pokertracker.com/guides/PT4 ... le-playing

And I still get the pop-up.

Solutions?

Using PT4 4.11.11, OS X 10.9.4

Were the hands imported by the Setup Assistant? The files should be moved if they were read and imported, but you can also move them manually using Finder.

Imported and read by the Setup Assistant. So now I "advance" to the moving of files manually? Sound risky to me.

I change nothing on my computer yet It seems every month I have something to fix on PT4, eating up hours of my time and jamming me on my set playing days. Why did this latest issue occur?

Honestly, I'm thinking the grass might be greener with another maker of software. At some point, everyone does. After so many years, this is not something one does without reflection. I'd hate to go as I like PT4 overall, but it is costing me money by not being reliable.

The most likely reason for hand history files not being moved originally is if you still have the tables open (or for some sites even the lobby) then the hand history files can be locked, which means PT4 can't move them. However, the Setup Assistant should be able to move them if they are old hand history files, so I'm not sure why they wouldn't be moved in that case.
Once all of the hands have been imported there is no problem moving the hand history files to the Processed folder manually. You can use Get Hands From Disk first to make sure they're all imported if you like.

If you find that the hand history files aren't being moved again the next time you Get Hands While Playing after you clear the folders please open a Support Ticket and report your problem so that we can investigate for you.
