PTS trial, can use postgres SQL DB?

i think i see somewhere that with PTS trial, we can only use ms access DB, is that true?

Correct, the PostgreSQL database option is only available to registered users.

it is still 1000 hands, could it be made so that trial could use postgres SQL as well?

The PTS trial allows for unlimited hands for 30 days, but you have to use the default Access database. After you purchase you can convert it to PostgreSQL.
