OSX 10.10 is still in Beta so we don't officially support it yet, but I was able to install and run PT4 fine yesterday after installing PostgreSQL 9.3 manually. Did the PostgreSQL installation complete OK? Do you see PostgreSQL in Applications now?

yes,I installed the Postgres.app

Please uninstall PostgreSQL.app and download PostgreSQL 9.3 from
this link and then it should work.
