When you say nothing happened are you saying that PT4 is not starting at all when you start PT4 with logging enabled? Please reboot your computer then restart PT4 using the logging enabled link on your Start Menu, reproduce this problem and then report it via our
support system with the log file - that will help us figure out what is going on here and get it fixed for you. You can find that file by clicking File --> Show User Data Folder in the main PT4 window - the file we need is the text file called PokerTracker4 that is in that folder. Depending on your Windows settings it may look like just "PokerTracker4" or "PokerTracker4.log" with a sheet of paper for an icon. But don't go in the "Logs" folder for this since what we need isn't in there.
If PT4 is not starting then a log file should still be generated. You can manually find it in your C:\Users\SOME_NAME\AppData\Local\PokerTracker 4 folder.
where "SOME_NAME" is your Windows username on your computer. By default the \AppData folder is hidden in Windows so it may not show in Windows Explorer so if you cannot see it please enable the option to show hidden folders in Windows 8.
Open My Computer (Windows Explorer).
Click "View" in the top menu.
Click "Options" at the far right.
Click "Change folder and search options" (the only option).
Click "View".
Look for the "Hidden Files and Folders" folder.
Make sure the "Show Hidden Files, Folders and Drives" option is checked.
Click "Apply".
