Use of note tracker

I want a way of tagging a losing hand depending on a number of criteria.
From what I understand it should be possible for me to create a series of custom notes and then apply them manually to a hand based on the reason I decide. After reviewing the hand.

Having done this, if possible, can I then create a custom query against the hand table grouping on the particular note cards I've assigned?

NoteTracker doesn't attach notes to hands it attaches notes to players based on their actions in those hands.

What you're probably best off doing is creating a custom report on the My Reports page that's a Hand report that has the various criteria you're looking for and then analyzing those hands. If you create the filters for the situation in the blue Filters link they'll save with the custom report and thus you can reload that report with your filters fairly quickly once it's set up.

Hi thanks for that information, is there any ability to tag a particular
Hand in any other way as than good/bad/etc. I really want something like this.

I am beginning to think that I may have to produce my own extract file under PGAdmin but I was hoping I might be able to do it from within PT4.? I can certainly produce a query of the hands I'm interested in but I then need to be able to individually flag a record based on a coding scheme I am using.

There isn't an automated function to do this but you could create a custom report in My Reports for individual hands and then you can multi-select (via ctrl+click and/or shift+click) and then tag all hands that are in the report via the right click menu.

You can assign tags to the hands via the right click menu. It wouldn't be automated but since you can do multiple hands at once it shouldn't be that time consuming.
