I will have to check that - it is possible that session stats override the ranges.

and "table session stats" doesnt overrule these ranges?

so theres no way to see how they have acted this table/tournament?

Session stats appear to be working correctly for me with player ranges. Can you explain what problem you're having?

session stats shouldnt be limited by player ranges or stack size filters, just stats for all the hands from the session

player ranges ive got set up:
2-4
3-5
4-7
7-10

2-2, tho unsure if that works, in conjunction w 2-4

so how exactly do i have 0 hands when we go from 5 to 4 handed? when i had plenty prior (and if its a range of big blinds in conjunction with # of players issue.... you know when those 2 just happen to narrow displayed stats the most dont you....)

this is 0 hands for session stats, 0 hands for default stats

just no information whatsoever when it matters most
detrimental when you are on the ft bub and the ft getting shorthanded so NBD, ill try to not be pissed off this hasnt been improved

and regardless if ive set the ranges up suboptimally and you give me some quick help on that, FFS what the hell is "table session stats" supposed to mean in english, and what do they actually show

angry, angry now, but subsiding after venting

PT4 runs down the list in the order listed. So with 5 hands it checks 2 to 4 which doesn't match and goes to 3 to 5 which does - so you get 3 to 5 handed data. When you get to 4 handed it checks 2 to 4 which matches and you see 2 to 4 handed data. You can't overlap in two directions effectively but you can in one - if you did 4 to 7 first, then 8 to 10, then 3 to 5, then 2 to 4 that should get you closer to what I think you want.

thank you, i will go through and re order them now

and what of table session stats?

do they show all hands played by villain on that table that session

(i know its "that tourney", not "that table" already but thats not the aim of the question)

Session stats show stats from the current session which match the other filters.

thats v sad

so theres no access to stats for every hand played on this particular table this particular day

and theres no access to villains stats for his entire sample

and the only way to get access to either of those is use no filtering whatsoever

it seems like theres a few other valid methods to filter stats (blind level ranges, antes no antes, this table of this tournament only) and all of those might potentially yield a group of hands thats either more pertinent or more statistically significant than the current config

its not the reg who i have 2k hands on that im worried about figuring out how to exploit in game, -i can do that off the table-, its the guy who has a bunch of chips that ive never seen before that i want to be able to break down asap, but if i can never accumulate a sample on him because stacks and seats keep changing then the hud is probably counterproductive to even see on the guy

Filtering is global and intended to cause the least amount of confusion possible - if someone's session stats were higher than his lifetime stats it would confuse people considerably (and rightly so).

You can always see someone's total stats in the main PT4 application but there's no quick toggle to turn these filters on or off.

i doubt it would be that puzzling since the filters dont come set up out of the box, we have to do it ourselves

confusing to me, is isomeones stack size changes and then i no longer have access to any information to deduce even the most basic traits on him untill he demonstrates how he is going to play the new stacksize

if i could see that he was 45/5 or 7/7 when he had 30bb, i can probably make some reasonable assumptions about how he might play his 12bb or 60bb stack

if im looking a n empty hud, trying to figure out if i call a shove or 3bet or open.... ive got nothing, and thats confusing

whats the easiest way to do that?

even if its a pain, its information i just need late in mtts

is there a way to view an entire tables stats at once (obv, if i have to search each player every time i want to look at one part of their stats that would defo be unfortunate but if theres no other option then sobeit)
