PT3 crashing randomly very often

Postby rakemore » Mon May 19, 2008 7:57 pm

My PT3 bulid 2 crashes randomly very often. The same thing happened in the latest beta release. I got this message the last two time it crashed:
Error: Access violation at 0x92D37000 (tried to read from 0x92D37000), program terminated

I also got a new error message today:
An error occured during the Hud process.
Exception: Trying to access an index outsize of array (6 when array is only 6)
Please restart PokerTracker

I'm running VISTA and cash games on Party poker

I'm encountering the same issue rather often on FT w/windows XP and 9max cash tables.

To clarify ...I'm not getting the exception...I'm getting this:

An error occurred during the Hud process.
Exception: Trying to access an index outsize of array (6 when array is only 6)
Please restart PokerTracker.

I am running XP with about 12 tables up and it is very laggy and will shut down PT3 with a similar error.

PS On Stars

I think this is to do with having an invalid stat shown in the HUD. A stat which should not be available somehow crept into the list.
IIRC this is one of the Table Average stats, something to do with the $ or BB per real time..
Try removing some of those type of stats if you've added any.

Now I have also been getting a lot of these on my new site on Ipoker!:

Error: Access violation at 0x92D37000 (tried to read from 0x92D37000), program terminated

It's a minor disaster every time it happens. It means that I will be without stats for quite a while after I have restarted the program because it has to re-import all the hands again. Which takes quite a while if you are playing long sessions and many tables.

I am also getting this error. The stats on my hud are: VP$IP, PFR, Total AF, BB/100, Hands. I am playing on Stars.

I hope this problem is one of the top priorities for the next build version. Now the program is pretty much useless to me, it's to much trouble restarting the program all the time
