PT4

Postby boghysen » Tue Dec 23, 2014 10:30 am

hi,
i instal 2 days ago a trial version of ProPokerHud wich works with PT4 and after instal i was fallow this steps in order to set it up : Rebuild Cache
It is crucially important that do this for all databases you use with your HUD at the table. If you attempt to use some that have a custom cache and some that don’t, you will find that performance is very bad.
From the PokerTracker menu, Database > Database Management
Select the database
Click “Rebuild Cache“
Select “Custom Cache Rebuild“

but in time of rebuilt casche my laptop was closed batery fell dawn and after i open again my laptop the PT4 dosn t work enymore (dosn t import hands, statistic, table hud s is not working, the comunity is disabled etc)
I uninstal propokerhud aplication i try to recovery my laptop to a previous date but nothings seems to work
Can you help me?
Thanks
Bogdan

Is PostgreSQL currently installed on your system? If you click Start type services.msc and click on it when it appears, do you see PostgreSQL in the service list? Is it started?

Does PT4 start for you then? Can you be a little clearer what you mean by "nothing works"?

also i recive this mesage when i open PT4:The Zoom HUD has been disabled because a required file is missing. To resolve:
1.
Check your anti-virus and security software configuration as described in the PT4: Anti-Virus, Firewall, and Security Software Configuration Guide
2.
Download and re-install the latest version of PokerTracker while PokerStars is closed.
If you continue to experience this message after going through all of the above steps, please contact support for assistance.

You should not install PT4 on your desktop. Please re-run the installer and install it somewhere else (the default is C:\Program Files (x86) ) - that alone may help.

What anti-virus and firewall software are you using?

Your database is saved in PostgreSQL so uninstalling PT4 won't affect it.
