The database contains all of the hands. Did the restore complete? If so click New at the window you've shown and click Browse and you should be able to pick your database.

Nope it did not restore, basically went for like 1 min and then gave this screen:
Is there any way I can unzip the folder and just create a new database then upload the processed hands or something?

I can't seem to get past the screen I posted where it tells me it says "error connecting to the database" when I start PT4. I go to click "create new database" and it just freezes...

That sounds like PostgreSQL is not running properly. Do you see PostgreSQL in Applications?

I see it in my applications folder but no I don't think it is running. How do I run it besides by starting pokertracker?
Is there any way I can unzip the folder and just create a new database then upload the processed hands? I'm a little annoyed doing this database restore stuff especially if I can just de download everything then upload my processed hands from somewhere. Please let me know.

Open up Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal type this and hit enter:
px ax | grep -i postgres
and paste the output here.

Apologies for the typo that should be:
ps ax | grep -i postgres
If the processed hands restored you could just create a new database and use Get Hand From Disk to get them on the Play Poker page but PostgreSQL needs to be working in order for import to function.
