Frozen at flash screen

PT3 gave me an error about being unable to access a tmp hand history file (FTP) due to it being used by another program and closed. The program will not restart. Nag screen passes ok, then the program stays stuck on the flash screen. I've tried restarting pc to no avail.

[Don't really want to install again and have to start a new DB... again...]

Are you able to manually delete the file in question? The TMP files are saved by default in C:\Program Files\Full Tilt Poker\HandHistory . . . I do know that if you are running PAHUD, it will lock the files and not allow you to move them, so you might want to try shutting it down if you have it open and see if that helps.
