You can change your HUD groups to Lower Transparency Until Mouseover by going to "HUD -> Edit HUD Profiles" and selecting your HUD profile. On the "Table Groups" tab under "Group Properties" you can then change the Display Type to "Lower Opacity Until Mouse Over". The HUD will then be a lot more transparent until you put your mouse over it.
You should also be aware that you do not need to necessarily use this function as you can move the HUD(s) to another position on the table so they do not block your opponents stack sizes. By default the HUD placed on the table is locked in position to avoid accidentally moving the HUD while playing however you can move the HUD to new locations on the table by holding the Command key while dragging the HUD.
You can alternatively click the PT-icon and select "Unlock Layout" to move the HUD around on the table without the need to hold the command key. When you have your HUD placed where you want then on the table you should then save the positions by clicking the PT-icon and choosing "Save Layout".
