Huge issues with PT3. cannot import anything

Postby jaeh00d » Fri May 23, 2008 2:36 pm

i just a few minutes ago i purchased the new version of PT3. A few weeks ago i was running the PT3 beta version without problem. Then when the beta version expired a few weeks ago, i just bought the final version today.

I went ahead and registered the product and everything. I mainly play all my games on stars and full tilt.

I tried sitting down at a cash game, no HUD stats popped up and no hands were being imported. then when i tried to begin auto import i get a big error message in red thats says, " unable to begin feeder import process. Reason: POkerTracker is configured to import to an outdated databse. This must be corrected before an import can succeed"

I tried looking around through the menu and database options, messed around a bit and couldnt get anything to fix it. If you could please help me get this running. Another question, i was wondering if there is any possible way i can import the hands from the past few weeks when i did not have PT3 running. If not no problem, i will just continue from here on out. Also i noticed the brief database that i accumulated usingt he beta version is still here.

so in other words i need help getting my new hands to auto import, i need hud stats, and if possible recover all my hands from the past few weeks.

thanks you very much

You need to create a new database for the commercial release.
Database -> Database Management -> New.
You can export the hands from your beta database by selecting it and clicking Export (if you don't still have those hand histories).

Then use manual import to get your existing hands into the new database you just created. The hands you played in between should import fine, just make sure you move them out of the standard folder after you manual import so that auto import doesn't read them too when you start it.

Glad you got it working, but what did you do?
