Retrieving hand histories after repair and data backup?

Postby mottotom27 » Thu Jun 25, 2015 2:19 am

I had to have all my data backed up after my computer crashed and i had to send it away for repair. it has been returned now and as far as i can see, all the data has been restored besides the applications which all had to be reinstalled. As expected, after reinstalling PT4 the database had been cleared of all my previous hand histories. Do you know (if possible) where i can retrieve all the hand histories i previously saved and do you think the backup process would have held onto them? I would like to be able to locate these files and re-add them to my database to get it back to what it was like before my computer crashed

Thanks,
Tom

If you have a PT4 Backup then you can restore it to recover whatever you backed up. This can include your database(s) and your processed hand histories if you selected those options.

If you don't have a backup but your files were restored then you may be able to find your hand histories in:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\PokerTracker 4\Processed

(That is the default location)
