Hands exported ≠ hands played

Postby SQL Noob » Fri Oct 30, 2015 1:34 pm

Hello,

I'm trying to get my MicroGaming DB reviewed, I played 95k hands and the coach only got 65k. I tried sending the processed HH from the archive folder, it didn't work, then I tried filtering what hands I wanted him to review, went to the positional report tab so that hands were split into 6 parts. Then for every group I selected all hands, right clicked and exported it, sent the 6 .txt files and he's still getting only 65k hands. The hands are there, but disappear between my reports and my exports, what can I do?

For every group I exported when it was over I got a "xxxxx hands have been exported", it was the right number every time. My coach uses HM2 btw. (e/ he just tried with PT4 and gets only 65k hands too)

Best regards

Does he get errors when trying to import the exports? It's sounds like the issue is on the HM2 importing side rather than the PT4 exporting side especially since the export numbers add up.

Well no and he imported hands to his PT4 as well and it didn't work, I actually switched to PT4 when I had problems with HM2 and the import didn't work either.

Did the coach see 65k hands imported or is he getting that figure from the reports? I reviewed a log file you have previously submitted to us and you have more than one Microgaming skin installed so if you are using an alias in PokerTracker 4 to view all your hands then your coach would also need to setup an alias for all your Microgaming screen names if they have not already done so.

From the report. I have more than 65k hands with the screenname he sees. He doesn't see the new SN I have though.

Then you may not be looking at the same data. Have all your screen names been added as part of an alias in your coaches database?

Unfortunately that's not it. I have 2 SNs, my coach is seeing one of them, and he imported less hands than the amount of hands that SN has played.

If you create a new database and set it to be active (Database > Database Management) and import your exported hands do you see them all?

Yep, 100% sure. I just imported what I tried sending to my coach, I got 95k hands now instead of 65k hands.

If you have a database with just those hands that does work you can make a backup of it via our Backup system and give him the zip file and he can restore it. That's also a heck of a lot faster than reimporting the hands. For a database of just 100k hands it should be fairly small as well.
