Ok I juste created my new DB, it will be done importing in 5 minutes. Will he be able to use the back up zip file with his HM2 ?

No, he will need to use PT4 to restore it, but as you said he has PT4 available.

What should I do to give him something he can use directly with HM2? For me it's not a problem but I didn't pay him to do that work :)

Because MPN histories are not in text format PT4 converts them to text as they're imported and HM2 will not import this format, and it will not read a PT4 database backup because our databases have different structures.

So even if he imports the DB in his PT4 he won't be able to read it with his HM2, is that correct ?

Correct. For MPN you would need the original GameHistory.dat format hands to import into HM2.
