Running HM2 and PT4

Postby Blunderer » Fri Nov 13, 2015 6:25 pm

I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but couldn't find the answer

I use Hm2, how should I set up the imports so that both hm2 and pt4 databases get imported.

Slightly concerned about one database moving hand histories around so the other database doesn't get it

thanks in advance

I am not entirely clear on what it is you are trying to achieve. Are you trying to import a HM2 database into PT4? Are you using both programs at the same time while playing?

Hi, thanks for the reply

I will probably be running Hm2 live, but want the Pt4 database to get updated too.

I'm not clear as to what the best way to do this is

All original hands/summaries that are auto-imported by HM2 get moved to an archive which is in C:\HM2Archive by default. You can manually import those files in PokerTracker 4 by selecting "Get Hands From Disk" after clicking "Play Poker". When you manually import hands in this way PokerTracker 4 will not move the files from the \HM2Archive.

Hi.

I am following the same process to import my HH from HM2 . It was working well, with few hands being errors, over a massive import. But then, more and more hands became errors. I had to stop the import when it was repeating the same Hand error over and over and no import was made anymore (whe ni saw tha tht emorning--meaning it did that during hours). Also the errors count got big: 7500errors/87700hands (over 1633 tournaments).

Any thoughts on that ? Please.

Were you importing files exported from HM2 or from the archived hand history files? If you play at a site which doesn't use text hand histories (like iPoker) then the exported files from HM2 won't import. Importing the original hand histories from the HM2Archive should work fine.

If you can't see what the problem is please attach one of the files that gives errors to a Support Ticket so that we can check them for you.
