that's the one :)

go to C:\Program Files\Postgresql\8.2\bin - copy psql.exe and all the *.DLL files - paste them in the folder you have the script.

Then try again, and have FTP auto-Center off.

What was the name you entered?

If it says it doesn't exist, it is correct. psql = direct access to all posgres databases. Chances are you tyed the "PokerTracker" (friendly) name rather than the "Postgres Name".

look here where to find the postgres name.. IIRC postgres does not allow spaces in the name.

I'm having similar, small-time troubles like Mark that could probably be avoided if I was little more computer code-savvy. unfortunately though i'm a computer dunce.

I get this error msg when I try to save what I edit in pg_hba.conf...namely changing the md5 value to "trust"...this happens...

"Cannot create the C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\8.2\data\pg_hba.conf file.

Make sure that the path and file name are correct."

help?

Be Administrator? I guess you don't have write permissions on that file under your normal user account...
