Filevault

Postby pokerolga » Sun Nov 20, 2016 2:52 am

Hello!

Was thinking about using filevault to encrypt my mac but not sure if it´s going to impact my pt4 database.

Do you have any info on this??

I don't have any personal experience of that, but I would expect that it may well affect PostgreSQL since it manages many individual files which make up the database. You may want to contact PostgreSQL support for more information.

hmm that did not work. Got this: "EnterpriseDB Support Services are provided to our subscribing customers who may be seeking technical assistance and consulting. At this time your organization is not registered for our support or services."

Don´t think any help will come from them. ty anyway.
