Slow backup/restore after 4.15 DB update

Postby rcerreto » Thu Nov 30, 2017 9:56 am

I installed v4.15 and updated the DB.
All is well but backup and restore take ages due to a very long "Validating Files" phase, much longer than before.
Is it just me? I performed some housekeeping on the DB, to no avail.
Thanks in advance for any suggestion.

That's not something I can reproduce so please open a Support Ticket with a PokerTracker4.log file that's recorded the trouble so that we can investigate that for you.

i have the same issue, using v4.15.3.

rebuild cache, housekeeping etc works fine

but when i try to do a backup it takes ages (atm 2hours+)

I could show the same screenshot as OP, with even more "..................." aftrer validating files.
Like infinite points and they are even getting more :geek:

is this normal nowadays?

If you are using NoteCaddy that's a known issue so until that's resolved you can uncheck 'User Data Files' under 'Optional Files' and the backup should be much faster.
