Lost all of my hands. HELP!

Postby HicSvntDracones » Fri Jun 08, 2018 8:11 pm

I used Restore to import a number of cash game hands I had and selected the option to not overwrite anything. Now I have lost all 39,000 of the hands that were in the database before restoration as well as all of my filters and reports.

What happened? How can I fix this? I might have backed up the now missing database, but I can't remember for sure and can't find the file. What would it be named?

I think I found them in the Processed folder.

And solved.

Go to File- -> Open User Data. Get filepath to Processed folder. Paste into Get Hands from Disk. Import. Good if you're a dolt like me and lost back up zip and overwrote your db.

Do you see the original database if you go to 'Database -> Database Management -> New -> Browse Databases'? You can add it back to your settings if you see it but if you have overwritten the original database you can restore from a backup file if you have one. The backup will be named with whatever name you entered during the backup process and by default PokerTracker 4 saves the backup file to your C:\Users\{Windows Login}\Documents folder although you may have saved it elsewhere.
