I'm trying to configure PokerTracker + the ignition hand grabber on a second Windows PC. It worked fine on the first PC.
The logs show the following error:
- Code: Select all
2020/05/08 19:54:31.397 [00000]: [- Main -][wxWidgets] 19:54:31: Error: Execution of command 'C:\Users\REDACTED\AppData\Local\PokerTracker 4\Apps\SWduaXRpb24gSGFuZCBHcmFiYmVy\IgnitionGrabberApp.exe --tracker=pt4 --root_directory="C:\Users\REDACTED\AppData\Local\PokerTracker 4\Apps\SWduaXRpb24gSGFuZCBHcmFiYmVy" --data_directory="C:\Users\REDACTED\AppData\Local\PokerTracker 4\Data\AppsData\SWduaXRpb24gSGFuZCBHcmFiYmVy" --log_directory="C:\Users\REDACTED\AppData\Local\PokerTracker 4\Logs"' failed (error 193: unknown error c1)
Which is really not helpful. The hand tracker process doesn't appear to start. I'm not running any antivirus software. I'm running Windows 10 version 1909.

I'll add that running the IgnitionGrabberApp.exe directly starts the process, but it can't register with the PT4 API and fails.

Figured it out. My Windows username is my full name "First Last". I somehow had a file C:\Users\<FirstName> -- probably some script or tool didn't escape the space properly. This causes PokerTracker4 to break when starting the hand grabber process. Removing that file fixed it.

This is fixed in the PokerTracker v4.15.21 release which will be available either March 11th or 12th.
Please download and install that version once available which will resolve the issue.
Best regards,
Derek
