note window about a player

Hi,
When the note window is opened on a player, two small icons are displayed.
Can someone explain to me what the little button I have circled in the attached picture is for?

That is the 'Buddy' icon and it may be removed in a future update of PokerTracker 4. This icon was used for the 'TableTracker' application which is no longer available.
