PT4 Draining System

Postby Kep. » Sun May 23, 2021 3:05 pm

PT4 Version 4.15.31

The past few days PT4 had been draining all of my computer resources. I don't know how to correct this. I ran housekeeping. I then wanted to do a back-up but PT4 crashed.
Nonetheless PT4 and postgre are consuming all of my memory. I have 75% of my hard drive space free and 16GB RAM

Apparently closing the app and reopening it isn't good enough. It started working fine again after I restarted the service.

We need a log file to investigate that for you so if you have one from the time that occurred send that to us otherwise enable logging in PokerTracker 4 (Configure -> Options -> Logging Enabled) and when this happens send your current log file to us in a Support Ticket so we can see what is going on here. You can access the 'Logs' folder with the log file by clicking 'File --> Open User Data Folder' in the main PokerTracker 4 window and the file we need is the text file called 'PokerTracker4' or 'PokerTracker4.log' that is in that folder. Thank you.

Today's update seems to have corrected whatever the issue was.

OK great. For now I would leave logging enabled (Configure -> Options -> Logging Enabled) so you can send us your log file in a Support Ticket should this happen again in the near future.
