yes! please add this. even with low brightness it hurts my eyes. would be an amazing addition

This is literally the last app on my system that is not dark mode. I know there is a lot of complications from switching, could you just reduce the white areas to a shade of light gray, especially outside the areas where there is other objects on the screen? I have a 32" monitor and the amount of white space with nothing in it produces a white light (i use brightness reduction and night time temp changes so it is less blue light) is like a 60W bulb or so.

Just a reduction in the areas with no text would be huge!

Thanks for a great app, though, a testament to the smoothness and the value is I am not giving it up though it is so bright....
