Zoom HUD

Postby NathanH427 » Sat Aug 19, 2023 1:58 pm

Hi, I'm new to PT4 and am seeing my game improve since I've started using it. At the moment I'm playing 4 tables of 6-max NLH instead of zoom, my preferred game mode, due to the fact I can't for the life of me figure out why my zoom HUD will not load. I am aware that extra steps are required to set this up but at this point I've used all the guides available to me with no success. When I load PT4 this is the notification I receive:

PokerTracker is currently unable to configure the HUD for PokerStars Zoom!
PokerTracker requires App Management permission for proper HUD operation.
If these permissions are enabled, be sure to toggle them off and back on again. If they are disabled, enable them. After doing so, be sure to restart PokerTracker so that it can use the updated permissions.

I have done this time and time again, so this is not the issue. Any advice?

If you didn't already, please try removing the App Management permission completely, by selecting PT4 and clicking the minus button (do not just disable it; actually remove it). When you run PT4 again it should re-request that permission and that should resolve the issue.

If not, let me know and I can show you how to configure the setting manually.

Try creating a text file called audit-files.ini with your correct username into the package contents of your PokerStars install:

Code: Select all
[Audit]
Enabled=1
Path=/Users/Your Mac Username/Library/Application Support/PokerStars/Audit

Hi,

I have exactly the same error message: "PokerTracker is currently unable to configure the HUD for PokerStars Zoom!
PokerTracker requires App Management permission for proper HUD operation.
If these permissions are enabled, be sure to toggle them off and back on again. If they are disabled, enable them. After doing so, be sure to restart PokerTracker so that it can use the updated permissions."

I tried to do this again and again but it doesn't work.
What is exactly the App management permission? (I have a French IOS version).
I read the last answer but I'm new on Mac and I wasn't able to configure this setting manually.

Can someone help me?
Thank you.

All the permissions should be in the 'Privacy & Security' - see this guide for how to reset your permissions:

I can enable permission for PT4 in accessibility, files and folders and screen recording only.
PT4 doesn't suggest me to have permission for automation and app management.
I add it manualy for app management but I can't do it for automation.
It doesn't work anyway.

Following the guide should resolve the trouble but if you're still having problems then with PokerTracker 4 closed open the following file with TextEdit:

~/library/Application Support/PokerTracker 4/Config/GuiSettings.cfg

You should see a section labelled 'General' with the following entry:

[General]
RequestedPermissions=Y

Change "=Y" to "=N" and save the change. This will tell PokerTracker 4 to re-request all of its permissions. If you you require further assistance please open a Support Ticket where a technician can follow up with you.
