one more upvote from me, and I'll reiterate, going to a full dark mode might be hard to get all the colors flipped, etc.

but just offering a way to use a SLIGHTLY grayer color (even with less contrast and readability) as a stopgap or a setting that turned the large areas with no text into a very dark color would be a big help
