It did freeze in my case too, but only on the first run after installation. I waited and it unfroze itself after a while. It ran a little sluggish for a bit after that. No issues of any kind since.

PS: I remember checking my task manager. Postgresql was busy (a few % CPU) but PT4 was very quiet.

Thank you for the advice. Would you suggest to still run re-index on my databases after a successful update (as you suggested for downgrading to 4.18.1, which I did, but haven't yet run the re-index feature)?

Re-index doesn't need to be done again after upgrading to the latest PokerTracker 4 release. You might see performance improvements if you upgraded to the latest patch of the PostgreSQL version you are using, and in that case, re-index would also be advisable.

Mine didnt launch at all after updating, my antivirus (ESET) deletes a file during installation. I've gone back to the previous version, no issues

Please open a Support Ticket with a link to this forum thread, and also attach a log file, which you can find in your C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\PokerTracker 4\Logs folder, and we'll let you know what can be done to resolve this problem.
